THANK YOU!
Again, an enormous THANK YOU to Michele Tacheny, the whole Party-in-the-Park Planning Committee and all the members of the parish who volunteered their time to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday –with set-up, working the booths and concessions, and/or clean up, to all who were sponsors (large or small), made donations of money or prizes for the various needs – what a tremendous outpouring of time, effort and giving to make PIP the success that it is! The pay back on PIP is more than the financial benefit it brings to the parish – to have experienced the enthusiasm of those involved, the enjoyment folks knew visiting with one another, just sharing time in a different way than on Sunday, the wild excitement of the children and youth with the inflatable’s, bandanas and beads, and the opportunity to share SKD with the wider community – all of that is “priceless” as the commercial puts it. I am deeply grateful and know I speak for all of the members of SKD when I say again – THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
