Praise in the Park

Let's welcome Archbishop Hebda to envision our dream for a permanent church building on the parish property adjacent to Central Park in Ramsey! On Sept. 8, please gather at the park for 10 a.m. outdoor Mass with the Archbishop. After Mass, we'll make a procession to the parish property for his blessing, then celebrate with a family-style picnic back at the park.

Your attendance and show of united support are so important. Because of this, 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, Sept. 7, has been canceled.

The main course will be provided at the picnic. Guests are asked to bring a dish to share. Family names beginning with A-M should bring a salad; N-Z, bring dessert. (Gluten-free options, too, please.) Keep your dish chilled in a cooler until the picnic is about to start. For any questions related to the meal, please contact Sandy Johnson at

You'll enjoy yard games, activities, and great food to the music of the Basement Brass Band, including parishioner Aaron Jacobs! This is an excellent opportunity to welcome others to experience what we love about St. Katharine Drexel. Share this event on Facebook. Invite your friends!

Remember to bring lawn chairs and a picnic blanket. Chairs and tables will be provided for those who wish. Thanks to all who are helping to plan this exciting event! For any general questions or suggestions, contact Jenny Eldredge (, 612-619-4297) or Kathy Reed (, 612-702-6534).
